Details for reviewing NJ Youth and Junior Ranking Analysis

PLEASE NOTE: Rankings include all New Jersey teams from Squirt to Junior. AAA Squirt teams are included for our analysis. The rating formula weighs schedule strength, win %, goals allowed, goal differential, and other factors. 4 rankings are presented for each team. Teams are ranked overall in NJ (against all levels), overall in the age group (i.e. junior, U18, etc…), overall in their age and level (i.e. Bantam AA, PeeWee A, etc…), and also in their current league division (should be similar to league standings). The rating formula is representative of goal differential when comparing two teams. Non-NJ teams are included in Divisional analysis. For presentation purposes, local non-NJ teams are being treated as NJ teams due to the high volume of New Jersey players on their rosters. Examples of this include Philadelphia Junior Flyers, NY Applecore, NY/Ramapo Saints, etc…

Leagues included are EJHL, AJHL, MJHL, Empire, CHA, IJHL, AYHL, and NJYHL.

Rankings will be updated at the end of each month. Next Ranking will be issued 1-1-12
