Kyle Kramer is an 11 year old who's diagnosed with AML Leukemia. A few months ago you would have found Kyle playing
outside with his friends, skating on the junior Governor Livingston hockey team and getting ready for football in the fall
- any sport is Kyle’s sport! Today, instead, he is in the hospital battling this horrible disease!
The family,
Heidi, Bob and their three sons, have been very involved in their community and church The Kramer’s have touched the
hearts of many and the support of Kyle’s family, friends and extended community has been astronomical! .
Kyle
is very fortunate in his prognosis to have his young brother Danny as a perfect bone marrow match! If all goes as planned,
they will be going to Sloan Kettering over the summer to do the bone marrow transplant. In the meantime, Kyle will be in and
out of the hospital for chemo treatments. As you can imagine the family is being stretched and challenged as never before.
Our support will be even more important to them as they reach this stage of the journey!
.
The
"Kyle Kramer Medical Fund" was established to offset the costs of Kyle's treatment. The Governor Livingston
High School hockey team has supported this fund through fundraisers from their players and team. If any members of the NJ
High School hockey community can help, please see the link below or send donations to "The Kyle Kramer Medical Fund",
PO Box 264, Berkeley Heights, Nj 07922.
