Synthetic ice installations

Synthetic ice sells, installs and maintains synthetic ice surfaces for indoor and outdoor rinks. We have residential and commercial synthetic ice from 3/8" thick to 1" depending on your requirements. We can build boards, with back netting or glass plus and even make red lines, blue lines and custom goal creases if required. We work with the best synthetic skating material made: KwikRink. It is the fastest, longest lasting and most versatile surface out there. Please take a look at our pictures and video and see for yourself how cool it is to be able to skate everyday on your own rink.
Prices for material range from $28 to $9 per square foot plus installation.

Thanks and looking forward to hearing from you.

KwikRink Synthetic Ice has 2 surfaces to meet your needs. KwikRink Commercial (3RD Generation) and KwikRink Original. Both surfaces perform best in an indoor setting but can be placed outdoors if covered when not in use. A hard flat subsurface is required in which to place the KwikRink. The surface is not glued or screwed down. It is installed as a floating slab. All panels for both surfaces are solid synthetic with no interior wooden core. Panels can be connected easily with our precision dovetial pattern or traditional spline method. Panels are 100% skatable material throughout with no composite fillers in the middle!

KwikRink Commercial (3RD Generation) is a super high performance synthetic ice skating surface used in professional hockey training centers dryland training rooms & municipal skating rinks worldwide. It has been used extensively for professional figure skating venues and theatrical productions as well as stage shows throughout North America.

KwikRink Commercial (3RD Generation) panels are 1/2" or 3/4" thick (1" thick by special order). Panels are solid synthetic and typically 96" x 48"' in dimension for the splined panel and 94" x 47" for the dovetail panel. Panels may be custom cut to size in our shop depending on the application. Panels are connected together using heavy duty textured splines or the easy to install dovetail method to form a rink of any desired size. Performance is in excess of 90% compared to natural ice when properly maintained. Durability is expected to be in excess of 10 years depending on the application. Any and all skating techniques can be done on this surface.

KwikRink Original panels come in three thicknesses: 3/8" 1/2" and 5/8" thick. This less expensive surface is excellent for home or garage sized rinks. Panels are connected together using heavy duty splines or the easy to install dovetail method to form a rink of any desired size. Performance is in excess of 80% compared to natural ice when properly maintained. Expected durability is 5 to 10 years. Any and all skating techniques can be done on this surface.

Maintenance is minimal compared to natural ice for both surfaces. An occasional cleaning and application of environmentalley friendly slide solution to assist skating speed is all that is required.
